About Me

I have always been fascinated with the human body. I went on from high school to get my bachelors degree in Biomedical Sciences at University of Northern Colorado and fell even more in love with learning about this amazing vessel that is our body. I loved learning about what molecules were responsible for different reactions and the way that our genes turn on and off. Its all amazing stuff!

However, it never helped me connect the dots as to how I might take care of this vessel. So, in my early 20’s I found myself working in health care during a pandemic, with crippling stomach pain from being constipated for days at a time, worse acne than I had ever had in my life, gaining weight, losing my hair, joint pain, fatigue, and in an unhealthy relationship with food.

After living like this for years I had to take a look in the mirror and realize that the ways I am feeling, I dont want to feel that way forever and no one was able to give me answers for why I felt that way. So, I took matters ito my own hands. I went back to school and got certified in Nutrition Therapy at the Nutrition Therapy Institute. There, we were taught what nutrients were involved in specific pathways and what proper nutrition can do for the body and I was hooked.

I spent the next several years diving into my studies to learn all about ways in which the body operates and how the foods we eat can impact that. In that time and through self experimentation I have gotten into the best health of my life and maintained it, cleared my acne, improved my constipation, and have more energy than ever. I have created sustainable habits that allow me to live my life while still prioritizing key nutrient consumption and moving my body. Most importantly, I learned to listen to my own body and what its trying to tell me.

And now, I get the great pleasure of teaching other people how to do the same.
